Our Services

Three ways
we can help
your family.

Each service is designed for a different moment in family life — but all three share the same foundations: patience, plain language, and your family in the centre.

Our Approach

How we work — across all three services.

Listen first

Every engagement begins with a patient conversation — no forms, no assumptions. We want to understand the family's actual situation before suggesting any path forward.

Write clearly

All documentation is prepared in plain, readable language. Drafts are shared for review before anything is finalised. Nothing is signed until both parties understand every sentence.

Move gently

Decisions about family matters belong to the family. We provide clear information and structured support — but the pace, and the direction, are always yours to set.

Reconciliation Mediation Session

A patient mediation session for couples who would like to explore whether their relationship can be repaired through structured conversation, before any decision about separation is taken. The session begins with a written agenda agreed in advance by both partners, followed by the conversation itself, and closes with a short written note recording the points discussed. The note is shared with both partners afterwards so it can be read calmly at home. Further sessions are arranged only when both partners feel they would be helpful.

What is included

  • Pre-session agenda agreed in writing by both partners
  • Structured conversation facilitated by a qualified mediator
  • Short written note of discussion points, shared with both parties
  • No pressure toward further sessions — next steps are entirely voluntary

How the session unfolds

01

Both partners submit topics for the written agenda — separately if preferred

02

The agenda is agreed by both before the session date is confirmed

03

The session takes place at our Sukhumvit office in a private room

04

A written note is prepared and emailed to both partners within 48 hours

Cohabitation agreement drafting

Cohabitation Agreement Drafting

A focused service for couples who live together without being married and would like a written agreement in place covering shared finances, household arrangements, and any property held in common. The work begins with a calm conversation about what the couple would like to record, followed by drafting of an agreement that uses the couple's own language wherever possible. Each draft is shared with both partners for separate review before any further step is taken. The aim is a written document that supports the relationship rather than predicting its end.

What the agreement covers

  • Shared financial arrangements and contributions
  • Household expenses and property held jointly or separately
  • How decisions will be made about major purchases or changes
  • What happens to shared assets if circumstances change
  • Drafted in plain language both partners can read and understand

The drafting process

01

Initial conversation with both partners about what they want to record

02

First draft prepared and sent to both partners for separate review

03

Revisions made based on each partner's feedback; second draft circulated

04

Agreement finalised when both partners are satisfied with every section

Shared Standards

Principles that run through everything.

Confidentiality — always

Every matter handled by khwanjaa Legal is covered by a signed confidentiality agreement from the outset. No information is shared with any external party without explicit written consent from all involved.

Impartiality — across all services

We do not represent one party against another. Our role in every service is to serve the family's shared interest in reaching a well-understood, well-recorded outcome.

Written clarity — every time

Every outcome of every service is put in writing and shared with all relevant parties. Documents are reviewed internally at least twice before they leave our office.

Decisions stay with the family

We provide structure, information, and documentation. We do not decide. All substantive decisions — about direction, about content, about next steps — belong to the people they affect.

PDPA data protection

All client data is handled in full compliance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562. A clear data notice is provided at the start of every engagement.

Licensed Thai legal practice

All work is carried out by attorneys with current Lawyers Council of Thailand practising certificates. Annual CPD requirements are met in full each year.

Pricing

Fixed fees. No surprises.

Each fee covers the full service as described. If a family's situation involves significantly more complexity than expected, we will discuss that openly before any additional work begins.
